I’m a follower of Christ, husband, dad, and pastor. In 2017 my family moved to Greenville, SC to plant Greenville Community Church and we have loved seeing the dream become a reality. Over the past 22 years, I have had the joy of serving churches in Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia and now in South Carolina. I’m passionate about communicating, creating environments, and leading teams. Thankfully I have a job that allows me to do all three of these things.
Why this blog? Writers need to write. Thinkers need to process out loud. Leaders should share what they are discovering. This is an outlet that I started in my family ministry days and after a long break as I transitioned into senior leadership and then planted a church I realized I needed to pause as I took time to find my bearings. In 2020 I started writing again! I hope this gives me an outlet to share some of what I am learning and maybe it will help in some way! If it doesn’t help…I have learned that’s ok. You don’t have to read, it’s all good.
I pray my journey helps people to think, learn, and live in a way that honors Jesus. I am thankful you would take the time to check this blog out. Would love to hear from you, email me at michael@greenvillecommunitychurch.com
