    My previous job was primarily in youth ministry – the longer my job went, the more it crept into children’s ministry, And more investment in children’s ministry creeps into more investment in parent ministry! It’s a beautiful thing, really. The deeper we get into the roots, the more impactful and enduring the church ministry as a whole seems to be. Parents really appreciate ministry that supports and invests in them – especially as they see themselves as equipped to be the primary spiritual caregivers of their kids. LOVE. IT.

    Read it on Kindle reader. Incredible book. Can’t wait for books two and three. Would LOVE a hard copy so I can mark it all up!

    Great list. I loved the post about partnering with parents….such an important part of my ministry. I probably do just as much work with the parents or family unit, than I do directly with students.
